So it's been a while since I have been on here and I just realized that I was tagged. So... 6 things that nobody knows about me. Let's see...
1) I love this time of year... I love the feeling, the food, the music, and the decorations. It is my absolute favorite!!! But, I could go without the snow. In all actuality I only want there to be snow on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the next day. Otherwise that is it. I enjoy wearing sweatshirts and scarfs and stuff... and I love the look of snow. But it sticks around way too long!
2) I still ove to watch cartoons. I love mornings when the girls and I don't have to go any where. We curl up on the couch with blankets still in our pj's and watch the disney channel. Fun times! =)
3) I think I could have 4 kids. I think Jeff would have a mental break down and freak out if we did. I mentioned it one time and he gave me an evil look and left the room. Ha!
4) I am scared of the dark. Silly I know... but it can't be pitch black when I fall asleep.
5) I could eat breakfast food anytime of the day. I love pancakes and french toast and stuff like that! Yummy!!!
6) Jeff and I watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation every night till Christmas starting Thanksgiving night. We start the movie, fall asleep to it, and then start it back up the next night where we feel asleep. We have done that since our first Thanksgiving together.

Aerotrikes!!!
So last night, Tuesday night, was one of my best friend's husband's surprise birthday party. We all met just outside of Cheney for some flying. We went on aerotrikes. I had never heard of them before. They were so much fun!!!!!!! It is part hang glider and part motorized trike. The motor actually sounds like a weed whacker! =) But, you fly around 300 ft up at 70-75 mph. It is amazing! The views are gorgeous and the flight is exhilarating! I can't wait to go again!!! Here are some pictures from the night -

She can read!
I can't believe it! My daughter is reading. She is growing up way too fast! Halle got a set of "Bob Books" from Costco for her birthday and she has read through the first four books by herself! She gets so excited and wants to go onto the next one. I am trying to slow her down a little bit but I don't want to hold her back. It is a tight line to walk. We are pretty excited for her! =)
Halle Turns 4!!!!
Halle had her 4th birthday last week! She had a party with 4 of her little friends, plus her sister, Thursday evening. It was a baby doll party. They all brought their baby dolls and played with them in the backyard. They made english muffin pizzas, had cupcakes, & opened their party favors. I had made each girl a new baby blanket. They got also got a new bottle for their baby. The "little mommies" also got some goodies.
Halle & Faith's babies @ the party!
Faith put her party hat on by herself! =)
I couldn't resist... it was too funny!!! Halle playing on the swing set!

Then on Saturday we had a family party. Everyone came over in the afternoon. My parents (Nama & Pop-Pop) and Grandma (GGMa) were able to come over also. Their brought their jumping castle & the kids (the girls & cousins) had an absolute blast! We had pizza again, Halle's favorite food! And more bupcakes, this time it was a soccer ball. Everyone had a good time and of course Halle was spoiled beyond what was needed. But, I guess that is what happens when you have a large loving family!

Spokane County Fair
We went to the Fair a couple of weekends ago. The girls had an absolute blast! We went with Jeff's parents, his sister, her husband, and their kids; twins Abby & Walker. The kids are 2 months older than Faith, so all of the kids had a great time! They enjoyed the animals, food, dancing, but of course the rides were the best. They were all tall enough to go on the kiddie rides! It reminded me of all the times at the Ellensburg Fair as a kid. Lots of memories! =) Halle & I participated in some duck races, our duck didn't win, but it was still a good time! All the cousins with Grandma & Grandpa Price
Halle & and I (in pink) racing our duck
The favorite animal was the goat!
The kiddos on the rides!
It's been a while...
We have been so busy that I feel like I haven't updated anyone in a while! Alot has happened, we went to the County Fair, Halle had 2 birthday parties & I have been planning some weddings. So... I will be giving alot of updates! Here we go . . . . . . .

1st Day of School
Today is Halle's first day of Montessori preschool. She is so excited! She will be going three days a week; 2 mornings + lunch & 1 afternoon art class. She says her favorite thing about going to Montessori is, "the tetter-totter! Oh, and I get to go all by myself." She is getting so big. I can't believe she is going to be 4 years old in two weeks. Time sure does fly!
Faith & I will start our co-op preschool next week, but she of course had to jump into the photo shoot. I am a little biased, but I sure think they are cute!

Soccer
Halle received an early birthday present this week from my her Nama & Pop-Pop... she will be playing soccer! She is so excited! As of 8:30 this morning she had all of her gear on and was ready to go... she just needed to wait another 9 hours till practice! =) To help the time go she and Faith went out back and played for a little while. I snapped some pictures to share. This is an exciting moment for me also. I grew up playing soccer and have been waiting to coach and be a "soccer mom". I will be co-coaching with another parent. Although there is not a whole lot of coaching done at this age it still should be alot of fun! Our first game will be Sept. 13th.
Aparently she won, she was doing a victory lap!
She is teaching Faith how to play. Faith was quite the natural dribbling around!

fun with friends
this is my third post of the day... but the girls are resting and we have some great pictures & have had lots of fun with friends. so i wanted to share!
tea party
Halle, Faith & I had a "Breakfast Tea Party" the other morning. I cut up little pieces of fruit and pieces of bagel & breakfast bar then for our tea we had milk. We had little plates and little cups. The girls had an absolute blast. It was great! This was a little party for my birthday was the next day so they thought it was alot of fun. For them, the most exciting part was that they got to have milk in a cup without a lid! The littlest things are the most exciting for them. You forget as an adult what is "exciting & fun". It is a great reminder to let yourself get excited about the smallest things. I love it!

extraordinarilly verbal
Halle has been talking since she was 6 months old. By her first birthday she would say 2-3 word sentences & when Faith was born she was talking full sentences (@ 16months old). Well, recently she has been using large words. And not just using them, but using them at the appropriate time! For example; I was changing a VERY messy diaper of Faith's the other day and Halle kept asking me to help her unbutton her babies clothes. I told she needed to wait and she kept pestering. I then told her that if she could not wait until I was done that she was going to have to go into another room. She left for a moment and soon slunk back into the room with her head lowered and shoulders thrown forward (the classic pouting position). With a great sigh and completely solemn she looked up at me with truly sad eyes and said, "I just don't feel appreciated." It took everything within me to not completely break-out into laughter! She was so serious and so somber. Moments like this happen almost everyday with Halle. She is so extraordinarily verbal and can comprehend it all. She keeps us on our toes that is for sure!

This is Jesse & Lucy! Most of you know who Jesse is, in case you don't he is my younger brother. He & Lucy got engaged last year and are going to be getting married February 7th in Sun Valley, ID where they live. I am so proud of him. He has grown up so much and done so well for himself. Lucy is a sweet & wonderful girl. I am happy that he has found someone that will love him and take care of him. God really has brought the two of them together!

Jumped on the Band Wagon
Well... we did it! It seems like such an easy thing to do. Blogging! Easy to keep in touch with everyone that is for sure! This summer has been crazy busy so let's hope I can keep posting somewhat consistent. We have been busy traveling back and forth to Gig Harbor for The Fourth of July, a cousins wedding reception & another cousins wedding. Then add in a wedding that a coordinated and another wedding that I helped my mom with. Plus park days and play dates and that keeps us all really busy!
Halle is going to start a Montessori preschool in September. She is so excited! She will be attending two morning sessions & one afternoon session which will be an art class. She will also get to eat lunch there. She continually reminds us that she is big enough now to go to school by herself! She went and visited last month and said the most exciting part was "the teeter-totter in the play ground"!
Faith will be attending Co-op Preschool again with Mom. This will be her third year there! Time has flown by so fast. She will be going two mornings a week. She is an active little one always getting bumps & bruises. She seems to have no fears or falling or bonking. Her only fear seems to be a rather large and "loud screaming" fear of bugs!
Brooke has taken quite a bit onto her plate this year. She is not only the wedding coordinator for the church, but she is also helping coordinate wedding receptions and has followed in her Mother's footsteps and has done the flowers for a wedding this summer. She decided she wasn't busy enough (she didn't know what she was thinking) and took on the position of chairperson for the Co-op. This Christmas she got golf clubs as a gift and has enjoyed doing that.
Jeff is still with Northwest Farm Credit. He is enjoying his position and keeping busy. When he is not at work he can usually find him in the back yard playing with the girls and doing yard work at the same time. He has enjoyed playing some golf with Brooke, although an injury has really limited his activity.
Jake is still his neurotic self, chasing shadows and light reflections. He seems to think that he has been around long enough and should have free reign of the living room and sleep on the couches. He loves to play ball with the girls and "herd" them around the yard.
